In an exciting development, FincoEnergies, leading provider of sustainable energy solutions, announces a change in leadership, As of January 1st, 2024, Kimon Palinginis has taken over as the new CEO of FincoEnergies. Together with Pieter Peeters as COO, Hans Wouda as CFO and Denis Zaica as CTO (Chief Trading Officer), Kimon leads the new Executive Leadership Team steering the company into the next phase in becoming an all-in-one decarbonisation company. Founders Peter Nohlmans and Jan-Willem van der Velden (as per July 2024) will assume non-executive Director roles and remain an integral part of the Board of Directors next to shareholders Coloured Finches and Pontex Investment Partners.
Kimon Palinginis brings extensive experience of more than 25 years in the energy sector and is a long-term shareholder at Coloured Finches. Jan-Willem van der Velden, co-founder and shareholder of FincoEnergies stated: “We are very happy to announce the appointment of Kimon as CEO and welcome Denis to the Executive Leadership Team. Both bring a wide range of experience to drive FincoEnergies towards its 2035 ambitions. Kimon brings a wealth of knowledge and Vision. Denis Zaica joined the company in June 2023 as CTO and adds significant Trading and Risk Management experience in various commodities including biofuels.”
