We are looking for a new colleague to join our ambitious trader team in Aalborg. The team you will be part of has more than 50 years of experience in trading gas, and in addition, the focus is on sparring and mutual development.
About the job
As our new gas trader, you will from day one be given responsibilities that will quickly grow with your experience. You will quickly gain the necessary skills to participate in and provide inputs to our trading strategies. You will help optimize and automate the portfolio as well as collaborate with immediate stakeholders internally as well as externally. In addition, you will be part of a team where the structure is flat and the distance from idea to action is short. We value the team over the individual as we stand stronger together. Among other things, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Daily execution of gas trades and transport capacities
- Optimization of assets in the portfolio
- Development of hedging and trading strategies
- Ongoing dialogue with sellers, trading counterparties and customers
- Participation in rotation of on-call time for day, evening and weekend
- Collaborate with the developer team on new strategies and trading tools
Your competences
- You possess a Master’s degree in economics, finance, mathematics, engineering or similar
- You are strong in numbers
- Have an analytical mindset
- You are result-oriented
- It is an advantage, if you have trading experience, but it is not a requirement
- You have experience with coding within VBA, Python, C# or similar
