Monjasa is expanding its Mediterranean operations and is currently seeking a Trading Assistant to join their high-performing team in Limassol, Cyprus. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, data-driven, and eager to grow professionally in the dynamic world of marine fuel trading.

Job Opening: Trading Assistant – Limassol, Cyprus

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a passionate and collaborative trading floor. As a Trading Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth fuel delivery operations, supporting traders, and optimising administrative processes to ensure exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and coordinate marine fuel and lubricant deliveries to vessels.
  • Keep traders, suppliers, agents, and clients updated throughout the supply process.
  • Analyse tanker and dry cargo reports to identify daily bunker supply areas and send relevant approaches.
  • Collect supplier invoices and Bunker Delivery Receipts (BDRs); update overdue client records.
  • Send daily price indications for key ports and provide market updates, including freight rate reports.
  • Maintain up-to-date records in internal IT systems, including sales and customer data.
  • Support marketing initiatives such as distributing newsletters to clients.
  • Assist traders and the General Manager with ad hoc operational and administrative tasks.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and seminars when needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Educational background in administration, coordination, or office support.
  • Prior experience in the shipping or maritime industry is an advantage.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Greek.
