The Senior Supply Executive will be responsible for managing a range of tasks, including:
- Broker Coordination: Daily coordination with customer brokers to ensure seamless communication and operations.
- Market Updates: Regularly updating internal teams and brokers on port pricing, supplier availability, and market opportunities.
- Fixture Coordination: Collaborating with customer teams to facilitate smooth fixture processes.
- Supplier Management: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure optimal service delivery.
- Pricing Strategy Development: Creating and implementing pricing strategies beyond the traditional back-to-back business model.
- Vessel Tracking: Utilizing software such as MINT or Lloyd’s to track vessels, identify customer needs, and formulate strategies to capture business opportunities in the region.
- Pricing Analysis: Conducting daily analyses and reporting on pricing indexes to inform business decisions.
- Claims Management: Handling claims effectively during and after supply operations, supporting customer teams and suppliers as needed.
- Contract Pricing: Developing pricing strategies for contracts and contributing to overall strategic planning.
- People Management: Building and nurturing relationships with customer teams and suppliers, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
Skillset Required: Candidates for the Senior Supply Executive position should possess the following qualifications:
- Bunker Experience: A solid background in the bunker industry is required.
- Proven Track Record: Experience in handling supply operations is preferred.
- Availability: Candidates must be reachable by phone after office hours and during nights to address operational issues.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant field or an equivalent degree is required.
